Katie, a Dallas native, arrived in the Big Apple in 2009 and quickly was hired as a Rockette. She continued dancing, teaching and choreographing her way through the city ever since.  Katie worked as Al Blackstone's Associate Choreographer on the productions of Oklahoma, Hairspray, Pippin and the Noteworthy Life of Howard Barnes. She also performed in his original works.
She has taught contemporary, jazz and theatre jazz classes at Steps on Broadway over the years and has a passion for making video projects with a purpose.  Katie is a cancer survivor, soulful storyteller and loves teaching with all of her heart!
