Jennifer Golonka

Jennifer Golonka is an award-winning dance educator and freelance choreographer. She has taught and created works at various dance studios, high schools, performing arts schools, and Universities across the United States such as, The University of Boulder, University of Buffalo, Stony Brook University, The Symphony Strings on Mountain, Cincinnati Ballet Summer Intensive, as a guest.

Originally from Buffalo, NY, Jennifer is now a longtime resident of New York City. She has danced with several companies, including the Jessica Lang Project, Hannah Khan Dance Company, and Third Law Dance/Theater. Jennifer trained at the Martha Graham School for Contemporary Dance the Limon Institute.

Jennifer is a Teaching Artist at Arts Connection and was featured in the January 2014 issue of Dance Teacher Magazine for her work on the DELLTA program, (Developing English Language Literacy Through the Arts).  She founded the Luminary Dance Project, a workshop designed to provide dancers with a comprehensive artistic education, while building their technique.  These workshops happen throughout the year, across the country at various dance centers and universities.

Jennifer's teaching experience is vast.  She has taught at Dance Stop NJ, Dance Theatre of NJ, Off Broadway Academy Colorado, American Academy of Ballet NY, Karyn Kelly's Dance Center, NY, Keshet Dance Company NM, just to name a few.  Jennifer has been commissioned by the Cincinnati Ballet, University of Buffalo, American Academy of Ballet, Tempe Dance Academy, AZ. University and many more, sharing her creativity and knowledge of her craft.

Jennifer has taught at Pure Performance in the past.  She returns by popular demand!
